  • Globle-Tex surpasses its Asian competitors by being the first to obtain the ISO 16759 certification.
  • We are very proud to announce that Globle-Tex has obtained the ISO 16759 certification in July 2014! Titled the Quantification and communication for calculating the carbon footprint of print media products, ISO 16759 “specifies the requirements for quantifying the carbon footprint of those processes, materials and technologies required to produce print media products using any form of printing technology and that are within the user’s knowledge and control (International Organization for Standardization 2013).” These standards are based on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which uses defined system boundaries as a basis for carbon foot printing studies.
By being the first in the Asian textile industry to receive the certification in 2014, Globle-Tex continues lead others in related research and analysis. Safeguarding our planet is our company’s mission; therefore, we strive to always do more for the environment. Our digital printing technology has long surpassed traditional printing methods by cutting off the wastage of water, ink, and paper to avoid pollution.
The ISO16759 certification recognizes the achievement of Globle-Tex’s innovative printing technology, which is available through Globle-Tex’s TexPrinting Program.
